BRIEF BACKGROUND OF SAMPARC
SAMPARC was started in 1990 by Shri. Amitkumar Banerjee along with Mrs. Lata Pande in a mud house with 7 children at the footsteps of famous Bhaje Caves near Lonavla, Maharashtra, India. In 1998 SAMPARC children’s home (orphanage) Bhaje received “ National Child Welfare Award” by Government of India at the hands of the President of India Hon. Shri.K.R.Narayan.
Social Action for Manpower Creation- SAMPARC is a non-profit making Public Charitable Trust in India working for rehabilitation, care, education and overall development of orphan, children of socially victim women and other needy poor and disadvantaged children along with needy youth and women.
SAMPARC completed 25 years of its service for the orphan and needy Children, Schools and community education support programs. To strengthen youth, SAMPARC runs Vocational training centre to make schools dropouts skilled and employable and empowered women for income generation, housing for better living, Self-Help group, and family counseling against domestic violence and training to the women group. SAMPARC is working in the state of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and West Bengal and wish to add new states through Friends of SAMPARC for Social Service activities.
