SAMPARC BALGRAM (BHAJE):
A Children’s village for 120 Orphans poor and needy girl children, situated at the footsteps of famous Bhaja Caves. The children from the centre have excelled in academics, talent search and scholarship exams and also equally good in sports and cultural activities. The centre is 10 Kilometer from lonavla.
SAMPARC BALGRAM (POYNAD):
The centre is located in village Bandhan, Poynad. 15Km from Alibag and 124Km from Mumbai. The children’s home presently has 56 children 46 girls and 10 boys. Boys and Girls live in separate accommodation. The children from the centre have special talent in karate, sports, drawing and painting and earned lots of Prizes in state and district level competitions. Many children completed graduation and post-graduation brought up from the centre. This centre is well known for Education progress for children.
SAMPARC BALGRAM (SHEL-PIMPLEGAON):
The centre is a model home with family environment existing in a rural agricultural setup having deep community values. The centre presently has 52 boys and 6 boys are pursuing higher education. The children in the centre have good academic record and also receive training in classical music, tabla and harmonium.
SAMPARC BALGRAM (ANJAR, GUJRAT):
After the devastating earthquake in 2001 in Anjar in Kutch district. Gujrat SAMPARC started to rehabilitate Orphans and victim children to give them care, protection, confidence and family environment. The children’s home is well known in Kutch for its slandered care and support for the children. Education progress is excellent.
SAMPARC (BALASHA GHAR):
Balasha Ghar a children’s home for boys is close to SAHARA Ambey Valley, 20 Kilometer from Lonavla. The centre is for the care of children of socially victim women for their overall growth, development and Education. The children are from the red light of budhwarpeth, Pune. The centre has 55 boys. Children are doing excellent in education, sports and growing in family environment. All children get physical fitness training as one boy is Black Belt holder in taekwondo.
SAMPARC SHISHU KENDRA (KOLKATA, WEST BENGAL):
An Orphanage started in South Kolkata near Tally Gunj Metro Station. The centre takes care of orphan children for children of socially victimized women for their care, education and development. The centre has 30 children as 20 boys and 10 girls. The centre has its own dance troop perform various stage shows. The Dance Group has received many Prizes from various club and organization as a token of appreciation for their performance. The children are good in playing football and education. The centre also runs Vocational Training Centre for spoken English, Computer and sales Training. 60 youths from the community are attending the courses.
VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTRE (MAKING THE UNEMPLOYED YOUTH EMPLOYABLE):
To change the life of an under privileged youth from below poverty level and from social and economic backwardness to develop the youth and skill development, to help them to gain confidence and to provide them employment. SAMPARC provides central government recognized courses- ITC in Welding and Electrical wireman courses and state government recognized courses like Welding, Electric wireman, Armature winding, Computer, Tailoring all which unable to bring a change in the life of the 350 students per year for gainful employment. Every year more than 300 youth get employment in the nearby industries.
SAMPARC SCHOOL AND HOSTEL (BHAMBARDE):SAMPARC started the first school at village Bhambarde up to the 10th std. for the children of 22 villages near Mulshi lake in Pune District. SAMPARC supports education to 198 children. The place is 16Km from SAHARA Ambey Valley. It supports accommodation, fooding, education and better health of children in school and hostel. Boys and Girls are provided separate accommodation along with medical facilities. The school presently has 198 students with 110 boys and 88 girls out of which 142 students (84 boys and 58 girls) live in the hostel. From this year the students got facility of Junior College in the same premises.
MEDICAL CENTRE (MALAVLI):
To help 10,000 families around Bhaje. Lonavla SAMPARC started medical support program for Poor needy rural families. A hospital has developed for 14 beds for mother and child care program. Also a Medical Mobile Van visits 22 vilages to reach remote poor needy patients. With working force of Doctor, Nurse, OPD, Pathology, X-RAY unit in the centre aims to extend basic support to the rural families. Child Specialist attends the centre regularly. Minor Operations are conducted. This year we have started a dental unit.
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT (MALAVLI) :
A massive venture by the Rural Women started since 1992 through the concept of SHG. A Regd. Co-operative Society with 202 (micro-credit groups) covering 3940 women from 42 villages. Allied programs are women’s Counseling Centre, Entrepreneurship Development, Micro Insurance and Housing Society for Poor. 6000 women’s are direct getting benefit of the program. DRDA of Pune Zilla Parishad is actively involve with SAMPARC for Empowerment program of women.
SAMPARC CHILDREN’S HOME (JODHPUR):SAMPARC children’s Home in Jodhpur was started in October 2011. The centre is having 40 boy children. Mostly the children are orphan and their parents were workers of stone quarry. The centre is having the capacity for admitting 60 children.
FAMILY COUNSELLING CENTRE:SAMPARC Family Counseling Centre is aimed to support women of Maval Taluka. Counselor of the centre visit various villages to create awareness about Domestic Violence, Women’s Rights and other issues related to women and their respective families. This centre functions as a service /resource provider to women’s domestic problems.
SAMPARC ABHINAV ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOL (PATAN):SAMPARC Abhinav English Medium Primary School, recognized by government of Maharashtra is located in the Habitat centre in village Patan near Malavli. The centre runs classes for rural children, from lower KG to Standard First.
SAMPARC ORPHAN SENIOR GIRLS HOSTEL, MALAVLI:
The projects provides residential and higher education facilities to senior orphan, needy and disadvantage girls above 16 years of age to pursue higher education and technical education. Training is given for the Post Graduation and up to initial period of employment.
HOUSING PROJECT:SAMPARC Initiated a low cost housing project with the help of Habitat for Humanity and Jimmy Carter Work project near Malavli Railway Station for economically poor women to build their own houses. 100 women of SAMPARC self Help Group got accommodation with their families.
SAMPARC (GANPATIPULE PROJECT):The main objective of this project to provide education support to orphan children who have completed 10thstandard either from SAMPARC orphanage or any other orphanage to complete the higher secondary education. The centre is also planning to promote Vocational Training for the poor rural youth and Holiday stay for the orphan children of the various orphanages.
